I wish to join in the celelbration of Marta's life, whom I came to know through her equally warm & amazing mother, Evelyn Malone Curro, here in Olhao, Portugal. I cherish my delightful memories of both of them.

She changed my life. She let me be, for a brief time, a New Yorker. She rented me a studio below her apartment. She introduced me to her wonderful friends. She told me funny stories, naughty stories, great stories about actors. She had a great laugh. I loved her from the very beginning and I mourn her loss.
