Michael Gordon

GORDON--Michael M., age 58. On March 5, 2009, Michael M. Gordon died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a year-long battle with thymic cancer. Beloved husband of Linda Lowry Gordon, devoted father to Alexandra Lowry Gordon and Harrison Lowry Gordon, cherished son of Gladys Mackin Gordon and Lawrence H. Gordon, loving brother to Andrew Mackin Gordon. A graduate of Vassar College and Columbia Law School, Michael was a prominent commercial litigator and highly respected partner in the law firm McKee Nelson LLP. Over the course of his exceptional career, he also served as a partner in King & Spalding and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. A private funeral service will be held; a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
