As I was going through papers, I came upon correspondence from Nonnie. We haven't been in touch for several years. I was always happy to refer students to her as I knew they would be in good hands. I wish I'd known she was in Cambridge. I would have liked to visit.
A lovely, dear woman. My love to her family. Dossy

I was thinking of the work I did with you as my teacher as Bard today, while writing a piece for my master's. Thank you for sense memory and pouring yourself out for us, Naomi!

I remember her vividly. She was a remarkable person. I am only sorry I missed seeing her in recent years. She was a great friend of my dear friend, the late Wendy Tiffin.

Hello to the family of Naomi my deepest condolences for your loss. I was a former student of Naomi's at Bard. I never got a chance to say thank you for supporting me throughout my 4 years at Bard. Thank you for teaching me how to hone in on my talents and embrace them. Rest in peace. I will remember you forever.

The beautiful, bold, and brilliant Naomi Thornton is a wise woman.
That is an honest woman indeed; her contribution to developing my craft was made in the Theater Department at BARD college. She implanted grace on us all. Within all her criticism was compassion, so that students would strive, and grow to honor Acting as its true art form with dignity and courage .
Many blessings.

Just the other day, while walking on the quarantined streets of New York, you came to mind dearest Naomi. I surge of excitement filled me as I dreamed of safer days when I could seek you out and chat with you from this older point of my life. You always believed in me and gave me a sense of pride and hope when I was your student at Bard. You remain in my memories as one of my favorite professors whom I love very much and who taught me that I belong as a person, as an artist. May God continue to bless your soul Naomi and that of all your family. Until we can chat again my dear professor...
