Patrick's sudden death leaves profound sadness and an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his colleagues, friends, the Gertz family, sister Melissa Perdock, brother Andy DiJusto and his adored and adoring partner, Emily J. Gertz. Patrick loved public libraries, blowing bubbles, New York City diners and East River ferry rides, and spent countless hours in Prospect Park.
