Edward Roach Obituary
Edward Richard Roach, 78, of Waynesburg, died Monday, April 10, 2023, in Washington Hospital, Washington. He was born June 22, 1944, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Lawrence Roach and Pearl Phillips Roach.
Edward was a lifelong resident of Greene County. He worked alongside his son, Larry at Roach's Body Shop, which he owned and operated with his wife, Brenda for 30 years in Waynesburg.
He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda A. Inghram Roach, whom he married June 1, 1963, and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Also surviving are one daughter, Diana Haywood and fiance Mack McManus of Carmichaels; one son, Larry Roach and fiancee Michelle Sloan of Waynesburg; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. A public memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
