LANE, JR., ALLEN "ROCKY", 77



Summerfield - Allen "Rocky" Lane, Jr., 77, died on April 12, 2008 at the Malcolm Randall VA Hospital, Gainesville, FL. Rocky was a member of the Marion County Military Honor Guard and the United States Marine Corp Veteran serving during the Korean war. Rocky is survived by a wife, Joan of Summerfield, FL; sons, Steven Lane of Maneto, NC and John Lane of Lancaster, KY; a daughter, Terri Eagleson of Orlando, FL an three grandchildren. Services are graveside, 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military Honors by the Marion County Military Honor Guard. On behalf of The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, the East Clinton Rescue Squad and The East Clinton Fire District, our condolences go out to the entire Lane family. Al was a dedicated and valued member of our Department for many years. He was also one of the founding members of The East Clinton Rescue Squad bringing skilled professional emergency medical care to the citizens of the district.
