Lilla Spicer Obituary
Summerfield - Lilla Ruth Spicer, 80, died at Lady Lake Specialty Care, Lady Lake on January 15, 2009. She was born in Dodge County, GA. She attended First Baptist Church of Belleview. She was a cashier for Eckerd Drugs in the late 70's to 1987. Mrs. Spicer is survived by her husband of 62 years, Otis Carl Spicer, Summerfield; son, Don (Sandy) Spicer, Murphy, NC; daughters, Connie (Rod) Morrill, Jacksonville, FL, Shirley (Terry) Holland, Summerfield, FL, Yvonne (Bill) Heartsfield, Perry, FL; brother, Raymond Kimbrell, Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Doris Stubbs, St. Marys, GA, Margie Brogdon, Tallahassee, FL, Vera Fink, Orange Park, FL; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Monday, January 19, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Belleview, 6107 SE Agnew Road, with Rev. Ronald S. Walker officiating. Visitation will be Sunday at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM and one half hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Ocala.
