Clark J. ``Red" Humphrey, Jr., 87, of Akron, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2007 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, with whom he resided.
Red retired as a truck driver from the Akron Beacon Journal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie and grandson, Todd J. Penn. Red is survived by his daughter, Sue (Dave) Penn of Pennsylvania and son, Rick (Valerie) Humphrey of Akron, and three great-granddaughters.
Cremation has taken place. The family will celebrate Red's life with a gathering at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., on Saturday, March 10, 2007 from noon until 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Haven of Rest.
