Lindsey, Jr.
Clyde H. Lindsey Jr., 94, passed away December 10, 2018. He was born December 12, 1923 in Andover Township, Illinois, the son of the late Clyde and Bessie Lindsey. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.
He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Clyde was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at Fox Den.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Isabel; daughters, Pam (Duane) Konic, and Shelley (Tony) Modugno; grandchildren, Shannon (Jason) Allenspach, Tony J. (Jennifer) Modugno, and Lindsey (Joe) Dahle; and great-grandchildren, Braden and Quinn.
The family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, (245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221), where a memorial service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Organ Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home and Crematory, (330) 535-9186

Isabel, I'm so sorry to hear of Clyde's passing. He was a great man and a good friend while at Goodyear Tire Test. Clyde was instrumental in my getting a job at Goodyear, and I'm forever grateful for his friendship and council at Goodyear. God Bless you and your family. I really enjoyed your cookies Clyde brought at Christmas time.
