Barb, John, Darlene and family. David was as much a second older brother to me as anyone could have ever been. Between Mark and David, I probably had more fun and good memories than anyone my age. Even after Mark was gone David was always their for me and never stopped including me in great times. I will always remember his great laugh and his caring, fun loving nature. I know that we will all get to see him again someday and I will miss him terribly. I am so sorry for your loss. With love to all.

Barb, John and Darlene,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of David and all of you. David was always a fighter, full of spunk and laughter. I will cherish all the home movies we have with David in them--the birthday parties, the football games in the back yard--and David always smiling!!
Thank you, Darlene, for keeping us all informed during David's battle. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,

My Beautiful Son,
From the first time I felt you move inside of me I have loved you deeply. When I dedicated you to Our Lord and Saviour when you were just a precious baby I could never know he would call for you when you were still just a young man. I thank God for all of the wonderful years he let your Dad, your Beautiful Sister, Grandparents, precious nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin and friends share your life. I will miss you David and love you always, but I know that I will see you in Heaven someday, until then I surrender you back to God to be with your Grandparents. Love, Mom

Dear Darlene and Family,
The memorial service last nite for David was truly the most beautiful service I have ever attended. I was touched by the love, the warmth, and the pride that you had and will always have for David. I know that he was smiling down on all of you. They say that a man's life is not measured by his wealth, but by his family and friends. David was truly a wealthy man.
May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
Love, Judy Papp

My sympathy to those that David left behind; Melissa, his mom, dad and Darlene. I hadn't spoken with him for a while and was/am unsettled by this news of his passing. I cannot in this small space begin to recount the many memories. But sitting on the hood of his Rambler at Virginia Kendall listening to James Taylor after work at the Pub all those many times...The trip to Niagra Falls in 1980...It was a blessing to know him and his great laugh:). He told me a long time ago that when I was ready to sell my old 77 Camero he'd buy it. After he left the Navy, he came by my house in California and did just that! He was like a brother and I am better for knowing him. My love to his family.

I met Dave while playing Junior High football for Bolich in Cuyahoga Falls. Dave was a tough middle linebacker but would smile at the drop of a hat. We had fun times during those years through high school, myself, Mark Puente, Ed Quillen and other friends would always play a "pick-up" game of football or basketball. I have not seen Dave since high school but I will remember his warm smile and his friendship. May God bless his soul and those who he left behind. I love you Dave!

My entire youth is one big memory of time spent with David. He and I were inseparable from Junior High on, and this space couldn't possibly do justice to the countless moments I will always remember. Of all my friends, my Mom loved David like he was family, and we probably spent as much time at each other's homes as we did our own. Those really were the days, and I'm glad I got to share them with David. We had more fun than we deserved, we did all the things young boys do, and then some....... we learned alot about life from one another. and even if it were possible I wouldn't change a single thing. There simply isn't anyone else I'd rather have grown up with, Dave was the perfect pal...always there, always happy and ready to go. I can't recall even a single argument. We were like brothers, and I consider myself lucky for his friendship.
My sympathy and love to Barb, John, and Darlene, and all of those Dave leaves behind. God bless you all, we'll all see David again, I know he'll be waiting, and like he always did, he'll welcome us in.

My sincere condolences to Darlene, Ryan,Austin and their family. I had the pleasure of meeting David a few times when we were in our 20's and I thought David was such a nice person with a great sense of humor. Although it sad that he was here on earth such a short time, now he feels no pain and is not suffering but rather lives in the house of the lord.My prayers are with all that have loved David, that they may find comfort in knowing that he will always be remembered as such a nice person.
