Kathleen Hanlon Obituary
Hanlon
Kathleen Hanlon, 49, passed away January 26, 2019 after a battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Akron and graduated from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and University of Akron.
Kathleen will be remembered for her kind and gentle disposition and the deep love she felt for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Herbert Hanlon, and niece, Sydney Hanlon. She is survived by siblings, John Hanlon (Trayce), Mary Jo Heckman, Michael Hanlon, and James Hanlon (Alicia); nephews and nieces, John Chance (Alexis), Jackie White (Jamie), Dakota, Austin, Samantha, Michael, AJ, and Alaina Hanlon, Ashley Burke (Dan), Daniel, Tyler and Alex Heckman as well as nine great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333.
Additional calling hours 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, OH 44857, where funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday.
Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

I was saddened to learn of Kathleen's passing. I had worked in pharmacy with Kathleen many years ago. Words cannot describe her genuinely kind and happy go lucky sweet personality. We mercilessly teased her about her less than perfect driving skills and lack of direction in which the latter gave her a nickname. Long story short she was determined she was going to Georgia for spring break with or without friends! We then asked the big question, do you make a left or right out of the driveway for Georgia?? Pretty sure she spent spring break in Akron but from then on she was our Georgia Peach. Fly high sweet girl and don't you worry about directions, sweet angels like you go straight to heaven. Sending my deepest condolences.
