Theresa Proudfoot-VanHorn Obituary
Theresa, 51 years, went off to ride in Paradise on December 7, 2017.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ron; parents, Robert and Regina Proudfoot; and nephew, Robby Croft. She is survived by her only son, Joshua (Amanda) Proudfoot; sisters, Chrissy, Tammy and B.J.; niece, Krystal and nephew, Brett; lifelong friends, Pam, Bon Bon, Gail and Tamera.
Theresa was a longtime member of the Akron Big Wheels. She loved riding her motorcycle with her sisters and friends as she would say it was her "wind therapy" and "she was free". She loved to spend time with her son and spoil her many grandchildren. She is loved and will be deeply missed by many.
Friends will be received Tuesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where family and friends will share together at 7 p.m. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any Toys for Tots.

We send our deepest condolences to the family. Theresa an I shared a grandson and many stories of our children. I'm deeply saddened by her passing. Braylin will always know how much her and Ron loved him and he knows his Nana is with Papa Ron and Jesus. May you all find comfort in the days ahead.
