Lyle and family: I, as well, was on this same fishing trip with Minnie to Spectacle Lake this past wk. and learned of Catherine's passing. Thank you so much for calling and leaving a msg. Catherine was such a special and wonderful lady! She always had a precious smile on her face whenever seeing her. I met Catherine and Lyle the same time as Minnie as I was with her at the time we went to Lake McMurry. From that day on our friendship was formed. I know that Catherine will not have to suffer any more and is being taken care of by that Great Lord we all know we can not do without! Lyle, your and Catherine's footprints have been embedded on my heart and in meeting the two of you, my life has changed. I thank you both for that!!!!! My best thoughts, prayers and love go out to you Lyle and the family. Just remember that God loves you and so do I, Colleen Halvorson

I learned of Catherine's passing upon returning from a week long fishing trip to Spectacle Lake. I was thinking of Lyle & Catherine all that week as they used to come here to fish every year. Lyle, you had a wonderful wife & fishing partner. We met at Lake McMurry & that was the start of a wonderful friendship. She is now with the Lord and no longer suffers. She was a wonderful remarkable woman, one I will never forget. My deepest sympathy to Lyle and all the family. God bless you all in this difficult time.
