Cliff Edds Obituary

Cliff, 74, passed away Monday, November 11, 2002 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born November 18, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Leila (Kleier) Edds. He was united in marriage on August 1, 1961 in California to Betty Jennings. Cliff served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army as a sergeant major from 1946 to 1948. He attended Wichita State University where he was a member of the Phi Upsilon Sigma Fraternity. He co owned Underwritings Services of the South, a life insurance sales company. Cliff is survived by his wife, Betty Edds of the home; one son, Victor Lee and wife Diane of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Susan Bowman and husband Brad of Florida, Lynda Martin of Moore, and Judy Light and husband, Ernie of Choctaw; six grandchildren, Daniel Light and wife Elisa, Darla O'Bleness and husband Kelly, Matthew Martin, Stephanie Christiansen, Katie Christiansen, Luke and Trevor Lee; and four great grandchildren. Cliff's family honored his wishes to be cremated so there will be no services. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice. RESTHAVEN FUNERAL HOME S.W. 104TH AT WALKER 691-1661
