Sister Stuart,

I just learned yesterday, Jan 4th and was surprised to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I feel so blessed to have had the chance to cross paths in this life with Dave. We met in August of 2006 and I will never forget my association with him. I will always remember the night he invited me to come to dinner with you and Scott at the BBQ place there in Edmond. I have always remembered that. I enjoyed basking in his kindness and easy going personality. He was so good to take me under his wing per say and teach me some of the tricks of roping, something I have wanted to learn but never had the chance. He gave me that chance. He shared my love of horses and flying and will be forever grateful to him for letting me join him in riding when I have come into town on work trips. Echoing what others have said, he made me feel like an important person and a good friend. I looked up to him and saw the light of Christ in his eyes every time I came in contact with him. What a great man to have in your family. You have been blessed and I pray that you will continue to be blessed through this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family. May we all carry on his legacy. I know I will try. Dave truly was an inspiration to us all. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. Our lives are truly better because of it. May God be with you and your family until you all meet him again.

Heart felt love to you and your family,

Blair Henderson

Melissa and family, We were so saddened to learn about your loss. Please know that our prayers are with all of you. David was a wonderful person, one that my family admired and loved as one of their own. David was one of a kind...that is the way we, the Davidson family, felt about him starting the first time we met him those many years ago. His smile and kind demeanour made everyone he met, no matter where he was at or who he was with, feel welcomed and comfortable. Never once in all the years of knowing David were we we not greeted with a smile and kind words. We have been blessed to have David as a friend and a part of our lives. Dad admired David and cherished their conversations and time together. There is no doubt that Dad, Jerry, and David could have visited for hours and hours. We are thankful that they got to spend time together during their trip last month. That is for sure one of my Dad's greatest memories...one he will hold close to his heart for a long, long time to come.

We love you.

Melissa, James, Jeff, Scott, & Hillary:

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of Dave, he was one of kind! Dave always made you feel like you were really important because he took time to talk with everyone. He was so proud of his children and devoted his life to family and friends. Our family enjoyed the rich experience of knowing Dave and each of you during those wonderful Deer Creek years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. He was so kind to our kids at the cabin last summer and led them on the horses until he had probably run a marathon in the yard. He loved that the kids were having fun and that is how I will remember him. Finding joy in others. Kathryn Farnsworth (Kathy Samples)
