EDGAR HOFFMANN

April 15, 1924 - Feb. 24, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Edgar W. Hoffmann passed away on Feb. 24, 2018, in Oklahoma City at the age of 93. He was born April 15, 1924, in St. Louis, MO to Edgar W. & Mary Ethel Richardson Hoffmann. Edgar was a WWII Army veteran and a longtime faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He served Christ in many capacities at the church, including past president, Elder and various other board positions. He retired from AT&T after 36 years of being an operations manager. Edgar enjoyed playing golf, fishing, gardening and grilling, but his favorite passion was spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria; and brother, Ben Butler. Edgar is survived by three daughters, Susan McKeehan & husband Mike, Cathy Floyd & husband Scott, and Julie Hibbard & husband Kent; and son, Mark Hoffmann & wife Cindy; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family suggests donations be made to Crossroads Hospice or to another charity of choice. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Messiah Lutheran Church with burial following at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
