Mae Lawson

MAE LAWSON slipped away peacefully to be with her Lord on 10-25-05. Mae was born 5-17-27 in Nashville, AR. She spent her life working and playing hard. She was a caregiver to her family, friends, neighbors and even strangers. Mae was happily married to Wes Lawson on 1-16-71. After she retired, Mae worked as a volunteer at Heartland Nursing Home for 5 years helping care for residents. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, two brothers, one sister and her husband. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Kimberlin and Joyce and husband Wayne Ryerson; two grandchildren, Mike Morris and Shannon & husband Shane Challis; one great grandson, Joshua. She leaves behind two very special nieces, Sheila Richardson of Heavner, OK and Carolyn Vaught of Mt. Pleasant, TX plus many other nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Services will be at 1:00 Friday, Oct. 28 at Bethany Church of Christ with interment in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. MERCER-ADAMS
