Welcomed into her Lord and Savior's arms on November 3, 2019, Martha Louise (Lou) Crowder passed away after a short illness at Desert Blossom Rehabili-tation in Mesa, Arizona.
Lou's celebration of life Memorial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 10:30am in Bethany, Oklahoma at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service.
She was born on September 19, 1928 in Cordell, Oklahoma to Peter and Katie Penner. She was the youngest of thirteen children. Lou went to Corn Bible Academy, where she met Verner Crowder and later married in May of 1946.
They moved to Bethany and worked together at Western Electric (AT&T) until they both retired after more than 20 years while working side by side for many of them. They were married for over fifty years and spent much of the later years volunteering for various charities and traveling the country visiting family.
She later remarried Wayne Domer in April of 2010 and enjoyed 7 years of life with him playing cards and various games with friends at various senior centers in the Mesa area.
Lou was preceded in death by Verner in 2004 and Wayne in 2017, along with her 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Dearhamer and her husband Richard of Mesa, AZ, along with her son, Don Crowder and his wife Sabine of Oklahoma City, OK. Her grandson, Mickey Jones, his wife, April, along with their son, Grady, who live in San Tan Valley, AZ meant the world to her and made her smile whenever she talked of them.
She had numerous nieces and nephews that all had special places in her heart and thought of them as her own children.
