Clarence Carroll Obituary
Mr. Carroll served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving grandfather to several grandchildren. His granddaughter, Isadora Pryll, was his life for the last few years. He will be in his family's hearts forever.
Surviving are his wife, Marie E. Carroll of Bulls Gap; seven sons, James Andrew Carroll of Florida, Christopher Edward Carroll of Florida, Clarence Elisha Carroll Jr. of Bulls Gap, Joseph Michael Carroll of Connecticut and Matthew Eric Carroll, Bryan Russel Carroll and Gregory Stewart Allen Carroll, all of Bulls Gap; several grandchildren; two sisters, Georgia Miller of Oklahoma and Earlyne "Lue" Wright of California; two aunts of Big Stone Gap, Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by special friends, Cliff and Helen Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Faith Assembly Church in Rogersville. Brother Billy Ray Courtney will officiate.
Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
