Ethan T. Shea, everyone who met him loved him.

FRANKLINVILLE - Ethan T. Shea, of 7873 Kingsbury Hill, passed away Tuesday (Dec. 20, 2022) at Olean General Hospital.

Ethan was born July 2, 1994, at Fort Stewart, Ga., and was the son of Shawn C. Shea and Julie A. Sylor.

Ethan graduated from Ten Broeck Academy and worked various jobs after graduation, including Bradley Tree Services, Holiday Valley, Julies Pizza and Blooms Flooring.

Ethan loved being outdoors, fishing, kayaking, snowboarding, going to concerts and loved animals, especially his dog Jemma. Most of all, Ethan loved to be around his friends and family enjoying a bonfire. Ethan always had a big smile on his face and a goofy laugh. Everyone that met him loved him and his personality.

Ethan is survived by his mother, Julie A. (Shawn Haley) Sylor of Springville; his father, Shawn Shea of Allegany; stepmother, Kellie (Pete Gilroy) Shea of Allegany; four siblings, Kaelyn E. (Joe Arnold) Shea, Karlie A. Shea, Kelsey L. Shea, all of Allegany, and Tristan Seamans of Springville; three step-siblings, Maggi (Ian) Preston of Langford, Allyson Seamans and Collin (Vanessa) Seamans, both of Franklinville; and grandparents, Peggy and Paul Herring and Robert and Bev Ryan.

Ethan was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth Sylor, John "Red" Woodward, Barbara Shea and Mell Snow.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2022) at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 28, 2022), at which time the Rev. Jeff Towne will officiate. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after at the Ischua Valley Country Club.
