Barbara Sovereign Obituary

Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Veronica Tacey. Survived by husband, Ron; son, Tony (Julie); grandchildren, Hollyann and Tanner; and brother, Roger (Joyce) Tacey. Barbara loved traveling on motorcycles with her husband Ron, and was a teacher for over 39 years for Omaha Public Schools.
Family will Receive friends Tuesday 5-7pm, West Center Chapel, with WAKE SERVICE at 7pm. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday 10am at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. Interment Wednesday 3pm Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Norfolk, NE. Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

Mrs. Sovereign was my fifth grade teacher in 1974, I have such fond memories of her. I am very sorry for your loss , I hope knowing that she touched so many is a comfort to you.

Mrs. Sovereign was my 5th grade teacher in the mid 70's at Crestridge. She was a wonderful lady and teacher. I still have our class picture with her in it. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I remember Mrs Sovereign from Crestridge, although I did not have her as a teacher I remember she was always full of spunk. We were just talking about her on New Years Day- after reading the article about Mrs Henning and herself- and their spouses. My sympathy to her family- she was a great educator who touched and molded many lives.
