I walked away from Barry's funeral today thanking God for letting Barry in my life. In the last few months I saw what his illness was doing to him and asked him how he could handle it and his reply was "it isn't that bad and there are lot of people I can talk to. It seemed that everyone knew him. His sisters said it all today"he did it his way". He always had time to talk to my wife and young daughter when school was out and they came to the Bagel Bin. Our morning group is going to miss his sports and political opinions that at times were very colorful. He was a good person And is finally at peace.

I enjoyed having coffee with Barry for several years. He was quite a Nebraska fan and loved sports. We also enjoyed the pawn shop show on cable tv. He is going to be missed by his friends.

Ann and Jack Belmont and families:
Ann, my beloved neighbor in our growing up years, and dear Jack:,
there are no words adequate enough to even try to understand how your hearts much be aching right now. There are no reasons to really know WHY, this has happened and make you be forced to just 'let go' of your precious being.
May it be of some comfort to each of you, to have all the memories from birth, growning up years, and to adulthood, to help your hearts heal.
May your son now look down from Heaven above, to keep watch over his loved ones, that he left behind.
May you find comfort in his memory,,
God Bless!
