Deborah Houghton Obituary
March 12, 1968 - February 14, 2022
Survived by husband, Bruce L. Houghton, M.D.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cleon and LaVern Houghton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alan and Alexandra Houghton and Daryl and Debbie Houghton, Drs. Caroline and Martin Tahara; nieces and nephew.
VISITATION: Thursday, February 17th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm at St. John Catholic Church at Creighton University, 2500 California Plaza.
VISITATION: Friday, February 18th from 12noon to 1pm with MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 1pm, all at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1308 Avenue "G" West, Wisner, Nebraska. Interment: Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, Nebraska.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Harold Warp Pioneer Village Foundation, Nebraska Humane Society, Siena/Francis House, or Magis Clinic.

Dear Bruce, Joyce called and informed us of Deborah's passing. I was so surprised as I saw and you and Deborah had attended "Fiddler on the Roof" on the 11th. I am so very sorry for your loss of Deb. She was truly the sweetest person I've ever known. Sadly, we lost contact several years ago but my love for my good friend remained. She was always in my thoughts and prayers.

Our sincere sympathy to Deborah's husband, Bruce, and their family+. We were fortunate to have known her. She was one of the nicest, sweetest ladies we had the pleasure of knowing. She never complained even though you knew she was hurting. She will be missed.
