Dear Sue & Family:
Please accept my deepest sympathy. We were good friends years ago when my husband Fritz and your mom served on the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education. We traveled to many conventions together and I cherished her friendship. Fritz passed away last year and I know they are in heaven enjoying and talking about old times (especially our trip to San Francisco when Dorothy & I got lost). I will remember your mom in my prayers!

Sue,
My entire family is saddened by your loss and sends our deepest sympathies. My earliest memories involve you and you parents. You were a big part of my childhood and you were never forgotten. I had a great deal of respect and admiration for your mother. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I wish to express sympathy to Susan and her family. Dorothy was an exceptional individual who gave many, many hours of time, thought, and compassion to her duties as a member of the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education. As a former OPS staff member I greatly appreciated her leadership and the time she took to visit with staff individually. Susan, your mother, and those of us who worked at South High School, were also very proud of you.
