Gregory Spurlock Obituary
Apr 28, 1964 - May 21, 2011
Gregory was a 1982 Central High School graduate where he ran on the 1982 state champion track team. He studied Business Administration at Tarkio College in MO., where he was a member of the Phi Beta Sigma, Inc. fraternity. Gregory unexpectantly fell ill and succumbed on Saturday May 21. He was preceded in death by daughter, Aria Osby; father, Jethro Spurlock, Jr., grandparents, Beatrice and Jethro Spurlock, Sr, and uncle Ardell Gunn. He is survived by fiancee, Rosie Ross; birth mother, Vickey Parks, Omaha; step mother, Evelyn Spurlock, Omaha; five children: Dion Butler and Marquise McClain both of Omaha; Eboni Spurlock, Reno, NV; Taylor Lyday, Tacoma, WA; and James Berrysmith, Seattle, WA; sisters, Christina Spurlock, North Las Vegas, NV; Michelle Jimerson, Omaha; Hazel Henderson, Portland, OR; Kimberly Spurlock, North Las Vegas, NV; and two brothers, Deano Spurlock, Carson City, NV and Deaconn Spurlock, Spanish Springs, NV; aunt, Lynette Spurlock-Hardnett, Omaha and Stephen Spurlock, Sr., Omaha; 7 grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
