Preceded in death by parents, Dominic DiGiacomo and Mary Lee Sweet. Survived by children, Ryann, Erica (Brian Burns), and Joseph Jr.; grandchildren, Tatum and Taylen; sisters and brothers, Renee DiGiacomo, Nancy Henderson (Jim), Martin, Thomas, Michael (Erin), Dominic (Megan), and Jaclyn Oltmans (Chris); nieces and nephews.
Family will Receive friends Monday, May 8th, from 5-7pm at West Center Chapel, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, May 9th, 10am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1248 S. 10th Street). Private Interment. Memorials may be directed to the family.

I just found out about the passing of my old friend Joe DiGiacomo. I can´t express my sorrow enough. Joe and I became good friends in high school, and stayed in touch for ten years or so after high school. Like most high school friends we lost touch with each other. Bumped into each other every now and then, and swore we would get together soon. We never made that happen. I loved Joe as a brother and friend. To his family, kids, grandkids, your dad, grandfather, was a friend to everyone, and everyone felt he was their best friend. He was just that guy. Joey, hold me a spot up there brother. To The DiGiacomo Family
I was just thinking about Joey just a few days ago. I remember Joey always hung around the Millers. I used to see him there all the time when I hung out with them as well. I remember when Joe broke his leg. That was a long time ago. I remember when we all used to go to Miller's farm for the 4th of July and he was always there. Joey was a sweet man who was quiet and shy. I am in shock about his passing. I am happy that he is now HOME with his father and other family members. Sending love, prayers and healing to help you through this difficult time. I am sure that Joey will be terribly missed by all those who had the privilege to know him.
