Kimberly Miller

August 16, 1975 - January 26, 2025

Kimberly "Kim" Miller, age 49, passed away January 26, 2025. She was born August 16, 1975 to Larry and Shirley Gift in Omaha. Kim dedicated 24 years of her professional life as a Registered Nurse at Nebraska Medicine. Her exceptional work in the Cancer Center, particularly as a Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse and most recently as the Program Manager for Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy, showcased her dedication to improving the lives of her patients. Even as she battled cancer herself for nearly two decades, Kim's unwavering spirit and her love for her family were an inspiration to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Gift; niece, Megan Gift-Dittmer; and father-in-law, Terry Overman.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Jocelyn; mother, Shirley Gift; mother-in-law, Marcy Overman; brothers, Tony (Shelly) Gift and Eric (Jodi Smith) Gift; sister, Kristi (Aaron Dittmer) Gift; sisters-in-law, Kris (Mike) Hopkins and Sarah (Jeff) Dinsmore; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Her Life will be 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at McCormick's 1894 in the Hoff Family Arts & Cultural Center, 1001 S 6th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501.
