My Baby Brother Larry,
You had been sick for many months. In the hospital for the 9th time. I had no idea that this time would be your last time. Even though you were younger than me you treated me like you were older than me. I still can not believe that you left us so soon. I thank God we talked on the phone the night before. Not knowing that would be the last time we talked. I love you so very much and I miss you so much. You will forever be in my heart and on my mind. You had a beautiful church homegoing service and we were supported by so many people. You were loved by so many people.I know now you are resting safe in the arms of the Lord. Trouble, heartache and pain are all over. Every day is a good day for you now.The song "we're marching to zion" was on my heart the day you passed. For now I know you have gone onto zion that beautiful city of God. Even though God called you home you are forever in all of our hearts and we will never ever forget you. My Baby Brother Larry Dwight Henderson SR.

To my sister Michelle and the entire Family of Larry Dwight Henderson Jr.,
Larry was truly a brother to me and I share your grief in loosing him, but I rejoice in knowing that as much as we loved him, God loves him more. The scripture tells us that Weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning. We will cry now, but the memories that will make us smile will last forever. God Bless and keep you all, and To God Be The Glory!

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.
Henderson-McCain,
Our condolences and prayers go out to you and your family.

To the Henderson.Legon and McCain Family, my deepest and sincere condolences .Larry was one of a kind. He was genuine and authentic. He never was afraid to show or tell anyone who he was and Whose child he belong to. He confessed early His God in Christ to be His personal Saviour. He loved life,people and especially his family. Rest assured that he is very safe in the bosom of God's loving arm. "Praise God from who all Blessings flow..." Larry was truly a Blessing. Rest in Peace my brother my friend

To Pam, Little Larry, & Lavell
I was saddened to hear of Big Larry's passing. My heart goes out to all of you and know I'm keeping you in prayer. Just letting you know that I'm grateful for Big Larry being a part in my son, James' life when he was young. Remembering all the times James was at your old house on Burdette and him coming back home saying how Big Larry made them laugh so much. I still remember when Big Larry would come to the B.E.A.R.S. football games at Flanagan when the boys played - he was such an advid fan, he would pace back & forth like a leopard when Little Larry & Lavell were in! You all have great memories of him to reflect on. It was good to see him ushering at Morning Star! May God bless & keep you during this difficult time.

Please know that you and your families are all in my thoughts. I knew Larry from his every day visits to the North Omaha Gene Eppley Boys' Club. When I opened yesterday's paper, I cried for the first time in a long time. He was the same age as my youngest son and I knew him nearly as long.
Blessings, love and most certainly my prayers are with all of you.
May the light and love of God continually surround and comfort you.
