Ricky was my partner for several years on T3 Automation and also was friends with my Dad when he worked here at the Omaha P&DC. Never a negative word came from him. Always such an easy-going family-man and never anything less than a work-a-holic. His humble nature combined with being a workhorse made him the perfect partner for me. We were a non-stop team. Thanks Ricky for all the fatherly advice, it was much appreciated in my single years! Your wit will certainly be missed. I always thanked you for your service, but I didn't know the extent of your military career. Even though I thought of you as a Hero, I now know it was true, beyond a shadow of a doubt! Love you Ricky, Rest in Peace. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Rick was a friend to all and dedicated worker both within the USAF and the U.S.P.S. Over several years that I knew Rick I was able to get him to talk about some of his rescue missions while in Vietnam even though he attempted to downplay his heroic actions. Rick served his country with honor and set an example for all of us to follow. God Bless the family and loved ones of Rick.
