Dear Aunt Jenny,
It's taken me a while to look this page up and write to you. It is hard with my dad, your brother gone. But here I am finally.I hope you are up there taking care of dear old Rocco. He loved you so. I remember the times when I used to visit Canastota as a child. I looked forward to driving over to your house. I loved your house and your porch. And I loved when you would take me in the evening for pizza at the local pizzeria. You always treated me so wonderfully. You have such a lovely family and I am proud to be related to all of you. It was hard to be as close as I would have liked living here in NYC, but the times I visited were some of the best times of my life. I will miss you but never forget you.
Love,
Gina and family

Gracie and family, I'm sorry this condolence is so late in coming, but I just found out about your mom's passing. It's hard to believe time has passed so quickly since we were children playing up and down Main Street under the watchful eye of our parents. I have many fond memories of your mom and how very kind and welcoming she was. Jennie always had something nice to say and just loved to sit, talk, and laugh. I feel truly blessed to have known her and to have grown-up in our wonderful hometown of Canastota. Our mom's will be missed. My heart goes out to you and yours. May God's love comfort you.

Dear Ed,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Your mother was a class act. She touched many lives, including mine. I remember meeting her for the first time a couple of years ago at the IBHOF. She asked me my name and told me to sit down next to her and take a break. Next thing you know, we were chatting up a storm! I could feel her incredibly warm spirit. I often think of that moment and how truly special she was. She left a lasting impression on me. Please find comfort in God's love.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You are ALL in my thoughts and prayers..I was so happy to see Jennie on a recent visit to N.Y. She had forgotten a few things but;her eyes still sparkled with love. My memory is sparked..as I recall the many times Pam,Bobby,Bruce and I would jump 3 stones to cross the creek onto the Brophy back yard, meeting up with Carmen,Teddy,Mike and Richard. Whether it was to babysit Eddie & Gracie..or just play in that big yard. Always good fun! The creek is overgrown..we wondered how we could have skated on that little creek..The Brophy family were just such a LARGE PART of our growing up. We were all truly blessed to have been from a small village where we knew love, even from the neighbors. We will see our families again..that's the good news.Love to all. Cheryl (Miller)

Michael, Gracie, Richard & Eddie,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. My best memories of her were in the grocery store. I would always see her there and we would talk about what to make for dinner. Got some good ideas from her and of course she talked about all of you. My prayers are with you all. Debbie DiToma Snyder

To the whole Brophy family: I was so saddened to hear of Jennie's passing. She was such a happy , loving and great person all around. I have not seen her in many years but will always remember good times, talking over coffee visits when Gracie and Eddie were little. My long departed husband Fred Tucci had a particularly
soft spot for Jennie and he always told about how she had taught Mike and him to dance when they were young. She showed them how to practice by holding onto a door frame.!!!!!God speed to a terrific lady. Gloria Tucci, Cortland, NY

I grew up and went to school with Mike and we babysat for Eddie. During all that time Mrs. Brophy was the epitome of a great Mom. The time I spent at her house was very special. I knew that then and I know now how special a Mom she really was. She treated me as her own child I always loved her for that. I grieve deeply for her passing.
