Happy Easter, my Love!
I had 2 extra people here today. Chase's girlfriend and Avy's boy friend! They really liked looking for the Easter baskets. They never looked for Easter baskets just eggs at their homes. Of course, the kids looked for eggs too with $1 bills in the eggs. 146 eggs! It was a very busy Easter. I sure missed you here.

Happy belated Fathers' Day, my love! Had dinner with Gordon, Chad, Viv ,CJ, Chandler, and Chase! We all miss you so very much. Chase was asking me questions about the Marines and what you did while you were in there. I couldn't remember all the jobs you held during your enlistment. Maybe when he graduates he will join the Marines, but I will be sure he goes in as an officer.

Merry Christmas my love! We had a surprise visit for Christmas Eve and Christmas day..Marissa, Chris, and Owen were with us. Gordon played Santa Claus, and it was so neat seeing him with his grandson Owen. It reminded what it was like when you played Santa for the grand kids. I miss you so very, very much. Happy New Year, Honey! Sorry I haven't written. The time is going by so fast that I can't seem to keep up with it. It is already Feb. I don't know where Dec. and Jan. went. Since I do talk to you every night before I go to bed, I hope that makes up for not writing. Things have been going down hill for me since I had the accident. I wish you were here to help me through it. I know you are here in spirit, but it isn't the same as in the flesh. Happy Easter, Honey!! Well, another Easter has come and gone. Every one made it for dinner, but Gordon's family. I had an Easter egg hunt for the kids and of course a basket to find too. I wish you were here with us. I miss you so very much. Tomorrow will be 5 years without you! It is times like this when I wonder why you were taken from us all. Some days it hurts very much, but now at least it isn't as often. I have been keeping my self busy to keep those sad days at bay. I know I have to go thru those days and I do. Happy 57th birthday, Honey! Well, another one of your birthdays is here with out you. I miss you even though I have been busy working the hours that I have been working. Nights are the worst when everything is quiet! Every one here is doing fine! CJ is playing football and loves it. If he has a soccer game scheduled at the same time he chooses the football game over the soccer game. It has been really hot here the past week, double digits. CJ, Chandler, and Avy have their birthdays within this coming week. CJ and Chandler are celebrating theirs together. Days keep going by, and I take them as they come. Wish you were here to celebrate the kids birthdays, I know you are watching over us, but I miss your body close to mine. I miss playing footsie with you when we go to bed.
