Daniel Pruett Obituary

Pruett, Daniel Scott 57 Jan. 26, 1955 July 06, 2012 Daniel Scott Pruett, loving husband, father and brother, passed away unexpectedly July 6, 2012. He will be missed by all who knew him and his family will forever feel his loss. Born in Newport to Murray and Bette Pruett, Dan graduated from Newport High in 1973. He was an IT Specialist for over 15 years, well-known for his leadership, knowledge and patient nature in his career as well as outside of the workplace. Dan enjoyed home improvement projects, woodworking, stained glass, wine tasting events and motorcycling. Beloved husband of Genevieve Childs; loving father to Brandon and Lyndsey Lillegaard; loving brother to Bob and Keith Pruett. Donations can be made to OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Services, July 28, 10:30 a.m., Adams Chapel in River View Cemetery, 0300 SW Taylors Ferry Rd., Portland.

Besides being a classmate in Newport, our dads worked together for Franz Bread there for years. Dan was always a friendly face and will be missed.

I went to school with Dannny also in Newport. I remember his sweet personality. What a wonderful guy he was. Lost track through the years. I work at Providence also and now I will wonder " Did I see him and not recognized him?"" My prayers are with you all for comfort and peace.
