Walter Adelman Obituary

Adelman, Walter Brian 77 Dec. 30, 1934 April 17, 2012 Walter Brian Adelman was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Dec. 30, 1934, the son of Molly and Sam Adelman. Walter died April 17, 2012 in Sheridan, and has been buried in the Havurah Shalom Cemetery in Portland. A proud New Yorker, he attended PS 125, Bedford Styvessant High and CUNY College and USC. Walter married Diana Rosenstein, moved to Los Angeles and raised a family. He had a long and successful career working as a chemical and electrical engineer working in the space program and in the defense industry. Walter was well-traveled, enjoyed fine tastes and loved his friends and family. He is survived by partner, Marlene; sisters, Susan and Kay; daughters, Lauren, Karen and Melissa; son-in-law, Peter; and granddaughters, Elaine, Meryl and Emma.
