Barbara Hitt Obituary

In loving memory, survived by six children, fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Born in Altoona, PA, Mom/Nana grew up in the Cleveland, OH area, married young and traveled extensively with her military husband, Franklin, who preceded her in death. She lived in MI, FL, TX, OH, NC, and GA. Barbara also lived and traveled in Europe in the 1960's-

Munich, Germany, Barcelona, Spain, Rome, Italy were major destinations. She also visited France, Austria, Switzerland, and England. Her favorite pastimes were winning at cards and sports. She was a fabulous cook for her family and friends. Barbara was a lifelong Catholic who attended St, Mary Magdalene Church in Maitland for over 50 years. She will be remembered as wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Small 'Celebration of Life' will be held for family. Donations can be made to AlzheimersAssociation.org
