I didn't know Dawn, But that Little League event was a wonderful thing for Central Florida. I taped the TV special WKMG6 did on the team. I made several copies of the tape and sent one to a cousin of mine up in Burlington, Vt. and to another cousin in Troy, NY. I also sent a copy to a former high school classmate in 2003 for the 25 year reunion. I found out about Dawn's death from a volunteer at the Museum of the Apopkans. The 25 year class reunion was my alma mater, Niskayuna High School, Niskayuna, NY. I hope the Brewer family is doing OK and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to them.

I would like the entire family to know that my family’s prayers are with you.

Even though I don't know you personally, my Dad, Reasley Vincent, talked of your family prior to his death last year. After watching with great pride as your family and the Apopka/Zellwood boys brought that great honor back to Apopka, I felt as if I also had a sense of who y'all were. Please accept my heartfelt sadness for the lose of your most precious wife and mother.

Dearest Brewer Family,
I did not know Shelly personally, but I know her parents Nancy and Roger. I have kept up with her illness over the last year thru them. I am so sorry for your loss. There is very little that can ease the pain, but knowing she is in Heaven and is now free from any pain gives us great Hope for tomorrow. You are in my prayers.

We feel very blessed that the Lord has allowed the Brewers' to be a part of our lives. They moved next door to us over a year ago, and Bobby, Shelly, Brandon, Danielle and Cassady have touched our lives forever. We love you and our hearts grieves and aches with you with Shelly being taken to be with the LORD. As Alli told me this weekend, "Mom, I will miss Shelly very much but she is in a better place and not suffering anymore. Even though we want her here, she has completed her journey and it was time for Jesus to take her home." We will miss Shelly very much. Bobby, Brandon, Danielle, and Cassady, we love you, and will continue to help and pray for you during this difficult time.
