We received the following Silver Taps Notice from Bill Tipton´s family. It appeared in the Orlando Sentinel. If we receive additional information, we will forward it.
With the passing of Bill, the only remaining '59er from Squadron 5, according to out records, is the former Squadron Commander Hiram French.

William Earl Tipton of Orlando Florida passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was a civil engineer and the president of Tipton Associates Incorporated. He is survived by his wife, Constance P. Tipton; sons, William E. Tipton, Jr. (Lisa) and Daniel N. Tipton (Stephanie); 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Our deepest sympathy to the Tipton family. Starting with Bill and Lisa and then with Mr. and Mrs. Tipton, living just 2 doors down was enjoyable. Watching the cars come and go and visiting about car restoration was a part of our neighborhood life.
