Kenneth Nelson Obituary
Kenneth Elmer Nelson, 73 of Midland died August 20, 2023. Son of Elmer and Lillian (Ahola) Nelson, Kenneth was born on June 27, 1950. Raised in Kinross, he graduated from Rudyard High School. Kenneth served in the Navy from 1970 to 1974 after which he received a BS degree from MSU and an MBA from CMU. He retired from Dow Corning after 32 years as a chemical engineer. He married Penny Morrison in 1970. He enjoyed all types of sports and was an avid duck hunter.
Surviving are wife Penny, son Eric, grandchildren Lea, Gavin, Brett and Laura all of Midland. Also sister in laws Marlene (Allan) Graham of Sarnia, Ontario, Sally Kora of Ovid, MI, and Donna (Fred) Stuewer of Kenoche, MI. and many nieces, nephews and cousins Predeceased by parents, brothers Richard and Thomas Kora, brother in law Charles Morrison, sister Barbara (Russ) Curtis, sister in law Sherry (Ken) Coomer and granddaughter Danica Nelson.
There will be no service at this time.
Anyone wishing to make a donation may consider the Cancer Foundation.
