Roberta Enea Obituary
Bobbe was 61- years old at the time of her passing. Born in Owatonna, Minnesota to Alice and Jim Gregor. Following the death of her father in 1971, Alice Gregor later married Doug Meyer in 1974, with Doug becoming a devoted loving stepfather to her. Bobbe attended the University of Colorado Greely and went on to become a medical services professional.
It was in 1989 while waiting in line to purchase concert tickets to see Paul McCartney, when Bobbe met Benny Enea Jr., the love of her life and from then on, the two were inseparable. As a couple they were together close to 35-years, confirming their love for one another in marriage on 11/6/1999, they enjoyed over 23- years of married life together.
Bobbe and Benny were active in the Concord Bocce Ball Leage, and regularly attended game night together. Bobbe loved cats, was a fan of The Grateful Dead, enjoyed watching football on TV and was a devout San Francisco 49er's fan. Bobbe and Benny also enjoyed epicurean adventures together from exploring fine and exotic dining, to attending various food, beer, and wine festivals throughout northern California. Bobbe was best known for her dry sense of humor, focused determination, and kind spirit. And she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bobbe is survived by her husband Benedict F. Enea Jr. Her older brother Jack Gregor and his wife Polly of Minnesota and her beloved cat Ziggy.
The Enea and Gregor families thank and acknowledge Tamara Berkey-Enea and Deb Reah for all the love, care and support they gave Bobbe in the last months of her life.
As per Bobbe's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
Instead, the Gregor -Enea families invites you to donate to the Contra Costa County Animal Services, Animal Benefit Fund.
