Shirley Howe Obituary

Shirley Farlin Howe passed away on June 11, 2023 in Hollister, California. She was 87 years old.
Shirley was born on October 31, 1935 in Charlotte, Michigan to Carl and Wilma Farlin. In 1966, she moved to Watsonville and worked as a waitress for several restaurants including Golden West, for 25 years. Her hobbies included: cooking, gardening, floral arranging, traveling, and decorating her themed Christmas trees and Christmas village. Shirley loved the color red. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Alice Farlin, brothers Bob and Ed Farlin. She is survived by her husband Donald Howe (52 years), her children Ron Patrick, Holly Patrick, Alice (Ozzie) Patrick Rivera, Robin Patrick Montalvo, Perry Patrick, Tori (Richard) Patrick Stewart, David Patrick, Christine (Gregg) Howe Durden; her sisters Elizabeth (Jim) Farlin Line and Sue Farlin Wilson; brother Warren Farlin; as well as 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel in Shirley's honor on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Mehl's Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
