Jane Ades Obituary

Family-Placed Funeral Notice

JANE LEDERMAN ADES Jane Lederman Ades, age 95, died February 29, 2004. She was born and raised a family in Louisville, KY until 1976. She then moved with her husband, Saul Ades, to Sarasota, FL where she assisted him in his career as a sculptor. Following 67 years of blissful marriage she became a widow and in 1999 moved to Jupiter, FL. A graduate of Wellesley College, Jane was instrumental in bringing the “Candy Stripers” to the University of Louisville Medical Center. Survivors, who miss her very much, include daughters and sons-in-law: Nancy and Dr Gene Loeser of Jupiter, FL, and Alice and Arthur Aronson of Renfrew, PA. She also leaves six devoted grandchildren and eleven adoring great-grandchildren. In gratitude for their loving care a memorial service will be held March 8 at Courtyard Gardens Assisted Living in Jupiter. Those who would like to make a charitable donation in her name may consider the University of Louisville Medical Center or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
