Family-Placed Funeral Notice
LEWIS H. BEERS Lewis H. Beers, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, died on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in Jupiter, FL, following a battle with cancer. Lew was the leading General Agent with Connecticut Mutual Life in New York City for many years and later consulted for several other national insurance companies. He was born in Queens, N.Y. and received his B.A. in statistics from Marietta College in Ohio. Lew is survived by the love of his life, Lisa, his loving children, Jody Post (John), Janice Beers and Paul Beers (Dee). He was blessed with six grandchildren, a sister, Roxie Shaw of Florida, and friends who have lighted his path. Lew loved his family, his friends, travel and a great dining experience. He will forever be loved and missed. “Nothing is worth more than this day.” In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lew's memory to: Foundation for Diabetes Research or Hospice of Palm Beach County A Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, FL for details please call (561) 744-6168.
