I was so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I send the same sentiments given by the many pople who have expressed their feelings to you, but wish to add an antedote about Nancy. We worked together at the Clerk's office for many years. She wished to retire quietly and without fuss. She came to my office to tell me she would be retiring and, instead of receiving gifts, she gave me a gift of a paperweight. That started MY collection of paperweights. Each time I wash and polish that paperweight, I think of Nancy. She will live on at my house. I will continue to hold her in my heart and memory each time I look at my "Nancy Hadley" paperweight. She was quite a talented lady! My best to your family.

What a remarkable lady she was. I met her when I was hired at the courthouse in the early 1980's. She was always there for us and treated us all with such care and compassion. She will be missed by everyone who ever met her.

Dr Hadley, my sympathies on the loss of your mother. I knew her when I worked for John B Dunkle, in fact, she was the one who hired me. She was a woman of class and elegance and always treated everyone with kindness and respect. Those who followed in her footsteps could have learned much from her. Again, my condolences on her passing.

Heartfelt Blessings and Prayers are being sent to the entire family at this time for comfort, peace, and healing. Life is never the same without our mother's - no matter what that relationship was like. At this time of healing, be extra gentle and patient with yourselves, Holly and Heather. There is no "right way" to grieve or to create your new life without your mom. Although I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Nancy directly, I knew her through the kind and generous spirit of her daughter, Holly. Sending love and blessings.
