Dear Elana, Anne, Gina and Rich,
It's been many years but so much of it seems like yesterday. My dad passed away at the same age as Peter and it is devasting to lose someone so very special so young.
But, I can't think of Peter as older. He'll always be young, hanging out with Richard, taking such good care of him, as you did Elana, because you both loved him so much. God, they were two handsome guys together, weren't they?
I always felt that Richard was going to be okay when you were with him. Now I just hope they are back together again, smiling those magical smiles, laughing with each other and totally at peace. I miss Richard so much, as you do Peter. Special people like them leave hugh gaps in our lives. My heart goes out to all of you. I'll just keep that picture of them in my heart, handsome, and loving, and bursting with life at 16. Gorgeous people separately, devastating together.
All my love, Val Balch Bradley

Elane, So very sorry for your lose. I have been at a lose for words very few times in my life, but this is truley one of those times. My heart is filled with sorrow and regret. Sorrow for the loss of Peter, whom was one of this worlds most special persons. Regret that the distance between us has not allowed for more memories in which we could reflect upon.
Peter was like the older brother I never had and we will all miss him so very very much. Please hug Gina and Rich for me and I hope to see you all sooner than later. I love you! I miss you! God Bless

Oh Elana, my heart goes out to you, Richie, Gina & the rest of the family. When I heard the news I was driving right in front of our old Auerbach office, so I turned into the driveway and there we all were - standing in the driveway telling jokes and just being together again. I could hear Pete saying "Amie, you ole sabertooth tiger you" Pete truly blessed this world with so much laughter and I know that everyone who knew Pete always had a great time when he was around. I love you and please know that I am here if you need anything. Sending you lots of love! xo

Pete was a modern day folk hero….part James Dean, part Mick Jaggar, and a little bit of Yoda...
He taught me some wonderful lessons when we were kids, and a few when we were adults.

-When riding the Tarzan swing, you must take the risk… and let go at the highest, scariest possible point to make it over to the other side…This was so you’d make it without falling into the ditch …but it was also so you’d experience the thrill.
-You must laugh at all of your dad’s jokes, especially the bad ones.
-You may laugh at your own jokes. But not too loud.
-If you pretend you’re carsick, you’ll get the window seat.
-If you take the road less traveled, you’ll have better stories to tell.
-Take the road less traveled in a great car…you’ll have even better stories to tell.
-If you love without question, you will be loved back without reservation.
-Live every day to its fullest… as if it were your last.
Thanks Pete, for pointing the way, and being the best big brother ever. You'll be with me every day.
Love, Annie

Elana,Rich and Gina. Pete was my best friend for many years and still remember the great times we had at URI, and spending time with Elana, Pete, my wife Kathy and other friends when you lived in Barrington. Some of my fondest memories was our annual golf foursome with Ray, Pete, Herb and myself. Because Pete was constantly cracking jokes during the 18 holes, we never came close to winning but will never forget this annual ritual!
My deepest sympathy goes out to Pete's mother and sisters and the entire Currier Florida family. Pete was one of the good guys who's time ended way too soon.

Dear Elana:

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. In our grief we should reflect on the life that Peter lived. The laughter, joy and happiness and all the love he gave. For it is not by the length of one's life, but the genuine quality that God selects them to dwell with him throughout eternity.

Love

It has been 30 years since I last spoke with my dear friend Pete yet tears stream from my eyes in a flood as I attempt to say something witty and insightful about my very first business partner, really when we were just children-upon reflection the creation of Filboid Studge by Pete, Obie, Clem, Chris, Fran, Herb and I helped me and countless others you touched to lead fearless lives with the clarity that the nurturing of family and friends is the only thing that is meaningful in this life. My warmest condolences go out to Elana, Richard, Gina, Charlie and the whole family
