87, a resident of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 14, 2012. Renee was the epitome of grace, a much beloved companion, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She brought light and warmth to all who knew her. She was preceded by her husbands, Irwin White of Philadelphia, PA and Howard Carr of Fair Lawn, NJ, and her sister, Marilyn Worth. Renee was born May 3, 1925 to Rubin and Minnie Wolpert in Philadelphia, PA. Raised there, Renee was graduated from Temple University in 1946 with a degree in Education. She married Irwin White and began raising their two children, Randall White and Sandra Gustetic in Havertown, PA. Following the untimely death of her husband, Renee and her family remained in Havertown until she met the next love of her life, Howard Carr. After marrying in 1966, they happily resided in Paramus, NJ with Howard?s two wonderful sons, Michael and Stephen Carr. Renee loved to travel from an early age. As a result she relished a second career as a travel agent in New York and Boynton Beach. She enjoyed playing golf and tennis and made many lifelong friends as a result. Renee loved playing cards especially bridge and canasta and never went on vacation without a scrabble board. Renee is survived by her loving companion of 12 years, Alvin Wolansky, her children Randall White and his wife Cheryl, Sandra Gustetic, Michael Carr and his wife Judy, and Stephen Carr; her grandchildren, Cari Gustetic, Rachel White, Staci Jones, Amy Ditch, Kristen Guichard, and Josh Gustetic; and her great grandchildren, Jayden and Dominic Toro and Caralyn Jones. Renee and her family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Hospice of Palm Beach County and those who touched her life during her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to make donations do so to the Hospice of Palm Beach County (5300 East Ave West Palm Beach, FL 33407) or the National Parkinson Foundation.
