Rosalind Chasan, 96, of West Palm Beach, passed away August 7, 2013. Loving mother of Joan Chasan Alford, Bruce Jacob Chasan, and Diana Chasan van den Boogaard. Cherished grandmother of Theresa Rose van den Boogaard, Emily Marcia (George Nitzburg) Chasan, Alexander Fernando Chasan, Jon Burton van den Boogaard, and Jennie Marieke van den Boogaard. Preceded in death by her husband Burton Chasan June 27, 1986. Services 10:00 AM Sunday, August 11 at I.J. Morris Funeral Directors, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach. Reception following the service at The Tradition of the Palm Beaches, 4920 Loring Drive, West Palm Beach.

Rosalind Chasan was a sweet, gentle soul who loved hugs and kisses. It was a pleasure knowing her. I loved giving her a kiss every morning before she went down to breakfast, she always called me sweetheart. Ros we will all miss you!!!

Although I only knew Rosalind on a professional level, I had grown very fond of her. What a gift she was to the world and I will miss our visits greatly. May God comfort you at this very difficult time.
