Ruth CIPRIANO Obituary

CIPRIANO, Mrs. Ruth Leanora

81, of Frederick, MD and formerly of New York and Florida, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carmine Cipriano. Born in Richmond Hill, New York, on April 7, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Catherine Litterer Bauer. Ruth was a homemaker for most of her life and a very active member of the Roslyn, New York Republican Club and also the Boynton Beach, Florida Republican Club. Surviving are her two daughters, Victoria C. Smith and husband William, of Frederick and Cynthia A. Downing and husband Patrick, of East North port, New York, and three grandchildren, Shannon Downing, Carly Smith and Alyssa Smith. Services and interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, New York 10128.
