Family-Placed Funeral Notice

WILLIAM E. COYLE William E. Coyle, 92, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on August 13, 2005 surrounded by immediate family. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey on February 7, 1913. Formerly of Old Brookville, New York, he moved to Coral Gables, Florida in 1975 and lived in Delray Beach since 1983. Bill was an executive at the New York office of CNA Insurance Companies until his retirement in 1975. During the 1930's Bill was a nationally ranked top ten player in both tennis and squash racquets. Upon his retirement Bill became an avid golfer and was an active member of the Boca Delray Golf and Country Club where he served on many men's golf association committees. One of his numerous athletic accomplishments was that Bill had three hole in one's, two during a one week period. Bill was preceded in death in the year 2000 by his beloved wife of 61 years, Doris. He is survived by his three children, Doreen Bramhall (Peter) of Delray Beach, States of Atlantis, FL and Robert (Sharon) of Clyde Hill, WA and seven grandchildren. During his life Bill was a devoted husband, and dedicated father. He was greatly appreciated and admired by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
