Daniel Lindeman Obituary

Daniel "Mike" Lindeman, 87 passed away Sunday Dec. 23, 2012 in Dana Point, CA. He graduated from Huntington Park High in 1943, and later that year joined the Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He married Wanda Jean Coleman on 8/5/1950, and they remained married for sixty years, till her death on 2/14/2011. In 1946 Dan began a long career with Southern California Edison, as a Construction Engineer. He retired in 1983, then he and Wanda moved to Paradise, CA. Dan loved life! Dancing, singing, making people laugh & smile with his quick wit. He loved playing horseshoes & games. He was intelligent, good with numbers, clever and could fix anything. In Paradise, Dan led the Hiking Club, and volunteered for "Meals on Wheels" for years. Dan is survived by his two daughters, Lisa (Tom) Hazelton of San Clemente, CA and Janice (Greg) Cummings of Vail CO; four grandchildren, Chance & Kasey Hazelton, Jake & Kyle Cummings, his younger brother Roger Hawley Lindeman and oodles of adoring kin. Burial services will be held on Friday April 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made Riverside National Cemetery Support Committee, PO Box 7519, Redlands, CA 92375

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Daniel he will be greatly missed. Daniel was blessed to live a long time, Psalms 90: 10 says that people who live to be 80 and older have "extra strength" Daniel had that extra strength, may you keep those fond memories of him always in your heart as you seek the comfort and peace that only God can give at this time of grief.
