Wesley Crabtree Obituary
Wesley L.H. Crabtree, age 91, of Paragould, passed from the cares of this life on June 20, 2022, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.
Wesley was born on Feb. 17, 1931, in Leachville, to the late Cotton Crabtree and Opal (Weaver) Crabtree. Wesley retired from Emerson Electric after 26 years of dedicated employment. He loved to fish and garden, but most of all, he loved his grandkids.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Cotton and Opal Crabtree; brother, Melvin Crabtree, and Glen Crabtree, and one beloved son, Gary Sloan.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 42 years, Eva Lee Crabtree, of the home; sons, Jack (Peggy) Davis, and Gary (Dana) Crabtree; daughters, Janet (Gary) Sanguinette, and Autum (Maurice) Resendez; brother, Carl (Sandra) Crabtree; sisters, Glenda (Butch) Whelchel, and Sue (Johnny) Horton; grandchildren, Machelle (Dolph) Pritchett, Jackie Lee (Kimberly) Davis, Torrey Crabtree, Sumer (Jen) Shelton, Kyle Crabtree, Tiffany (Jason) Shelton-King, Lindsey Crabtree, Jacob Atchley, and Eva Leann Atchley; great-grandchildren, Raven (Jimmy) Hayworth, Shelby Harrison, Savannah Hargett, Jax Davis, Max Wesley Gorrell, Carter Crabtree, Braxton Crabtree, Emerson Shelton, and Harper Shelton; great-great-grandchildren, Lyric Hayworth and Karleigh Hayworth.
The family will receive friends today, June 23, from 6-8 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home.
The funeral service is on Friday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home with Brother Rick Ethridge officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jacob Atchley, Les Crabtree, Brian Easley, Zane Clark, Dolph Pritchett and Randy Easley.
