Mrs. Barton was more than a teacher, or Aunt, or friend, Candy was one of God's greatest creations to ever walk this earth. She and Ford were so different but you could tell they loved each other. Mrs. Barton thank you for being a bright star making life meaningful.

So strange that I remembered the name. My mother worked with Ms. Barton at Ramona High School. May she rest in heavenly peace.

Candy (Mrs. Barton) was my childhood neighbor and eventually my high school P.E. teacher at Arlington High School. I helped her with swim lessons during the summer, although as I reflect, she was teaching me how to teach! I have very fond memories of Candy and know without a doubt, Heaven just became a little sweeter. My condolences to her relatives, but how blessed you are to have known her and been a part of her life.

Many wonderful memories, too many to tell. My Aunt Candy was my PE teacher at Ramona High School. I used to help with my Aunt teach swimming during a few summers. I have missed our Monday nights playing Dominos with Aunt Ginny, Aunt Jinx, Aunt Candy and my mother Carrie. She was the purist of souls and loved dearly/XO

She was such a sweet lady. I had her for P.E. at Ramona before she moved over to Arlington High. She drove that cute little Citroen car. Was part of her fun personality. She was a great teacher. The kids liked and respected her. A hard combination to accomplish.

Ms Barton taught me Rec Leadership in 1963 and also taught us leadership skills and how to be a leader. She was respected by all that knew her. The world was a better place because of her.So sorry for your loss.
